Over 110 kilometres of coastline embrace the territory of the Asinara National Park, which is part of the municipality of Porto Torres. This island can be reached by sea from Porto Torres and Stintino, as well as through many tour operators who offer experiences as diverse as they are wonderful. One of the most important marine protected areas in the Mediterranean also surrounds the island. All the beaches are located in the eastern part of the island, while in the one exposed to the mistral we find cliffs overlooking the sea and inlets of almost unreal beauty that transport us to another era. Not all beaches are accessible as the areas of Cala di Scombro and Cala d’Arena are included in an integral reserve perimeter, so they can only be accessed for scientific research reasons. Living the beaches of this amazing and enchanting area represents a unique experience that allows the visitor to be in contact with one of the most pristine and biodiverse nature, set in a place rich in history, one of a kind.
DISCOVER THE BEACHES
The beach is a very fragile natural ecosystem. We recommend: not to take away sand, stones or shells, because they are the material the beach is made of; not to trample or tear up the dune vegetation because it is what protects the beach; respect all forms of life because the beach is their home, we are their guests.
