The island of Tavolara is a six square kilometre block of granite that rises majestically from the sea and rises to almost 600 meters. The waters surrounding this natural wonder are protected by the Marine Protected Area called “Tavolara Punta Coda Cavallo”. Spalmatore di Terra, Chinelle, Cala Tramontana and the less accessible but equally enchanting Cala di Levante, are the beaches that you can visit only on condition of a small crossing with a boat that leaves very comfortably from the nearby Porto San Paolo. Once you arrive, it will be impossible not to fall in love with one of the most beautiful places in the world.
DISCOVER THE BEACHES
The beach is a very fragile natural ecosystem. We recommend: not to take away sand, stones or shells, because they are the material the beach is made of; not to trample or tear up the dune vegetation because it is what protects the beach; respect all forms of life because the beach is their home, we are their guests.
Click on the photos and you will find for each beach: videos, environmental, naturalistic and logistical information.
